Daval International is a dynamic, privately owned UK pharmaceutical company which has developed and is now testing, a new generation of palliative medicines for the treatment of a number of inflammatory and degenerative diseases in humans and in animals.
Following the completion of successful research contracts in the United Kingdom and Australia the Company's products AIMSPRO® (human) and Ceremben® (veterinary) are undergoing Clinical Trials approved by the Regulatory Authorities in both countries. Laboratory based research programmes are also proceeding at leading United States and Australian Universities. Data from the AIMSPRO trials (ClinicalTrials.gov) will be publicly available as and when released by the independent trial investigators, in accordance with the Code of Conduct of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry, of which Daval is a member.
Meanwhile, Special Access programmes in various countries have led to a limited level of "named patient" compassionate use prescribing. This generates income, which helps in small measure to offset the heavy costs of clinical trials and ongoing University research projects. While no safety or tolerance issues have hitherto been reported by doctors administering AIMSPRO, either to the Company or the Regulatory Authorities, patients, prescribing doctors and pharmacists are reminded of the MHRA "Yellow Card" system which enables the rapid and efficient reporting of adverse events and side effects.
