Syed graduated from Guy’s Hospital and trained at Harvard Medical School, Imperial College University, Massachusetts General Hospital and Tufts University, New England Medical Center Hospitals Inc. He has expertise in the areas of internal medicine and cellular signalling.

Professor John Landon MBBS PhD FRCP (St. Mary’s University, London)
John is Emeritus Professor of Medicine at the William Harvey Research Institute, St. Bartholomew’s and The London, Queen Mary's School of Medicine and Dentistry. Founder of MicroPharm in 1998, and is a leading authority in the manufacture and characterisation of animal sera.
Professor Thomas L. Force MD FACP FACC (Temple University, formerly Harvard University)
Thomas heads up the Center for Translational Medicine at the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He obtained his medical degree at the Harvard Medical School and has a Fellowship in Medicine at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. His current research work focuses on the regulation of normal and stress-induced cardiomyocyte hypertrophy, studying the signal transduction pathways that regulate growth responses, focusing on protein kinase cascades. Thomas has published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers and co-authored more than 90 publications.
Professor Laurence Thornton Shields MD (Harvard University)
Laurence is former Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Harvard Medical School. In addition to his many talents he was recently appointed Honorary Professor of History & Literature, at New England College. He is founding member of the Anthony Trollope Society and Past President of the Thomas B. Quigley Sports Medicine Society.
Dr Masud Haq MBBS BSc(Hons) MD MRCP(UK) (London University)
Masud is Consultant in Diabetes & Endocrinology at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. He is a graduate of Guy's and St.Thomas's Hospitals. He trained at Johns Hopkins Medical School, USA and St. Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne. He completed a Doctorate in Medicine at the Royal Marsden Hospital studying thyroid cancer. He is a member of the Steering Committee of the HiLo trial, Cancer Research UK, UCL and his main interests lie in diabetes, cardiovascular disease and thyroid cancer.
Dr Deirdre McIntosh PhD (formerly at Harvard Medical School)
Deirdre gained her PhD from the Institute of Cancer Research (London) and then attended the University of Manchester where she led a project investigating the pharmacokinetics and efficacy of cisplatin-antibody conjugates. Deirdre worked at Harvard Medical School as an Instructor and was a Senior Scientist at Inex Pharmaceuticals in Vancouver, Canada. She was appointed as Assistant Professor, University of Siena, Italy and later on had a position as Senior Regulatory Affairs Project Manager/Scientific Consultant at ERA Consulting (UK) Ltd. She has more than six years experience in studying the science behind AIMSPRO at St. Bartholomew’s and St. George’s Hospitals.
Dr Chris Moore MBBS PhD FRCP (Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth)
Chris is a Consultant Neurologist and Neurophysiologist, St. Mary's Hospital, Portsmouth. His main interests are in the area of nerve injury and repair.
Graham Peck MRCVS and Juliette Peck MRCVS (UK)
Graham and Juliette both qualified from the Royal Veterinary College and are highly experienced veterinary surgeons and directors of Parkvets, based at the Sidcup Veterinary Hospital. Parkvets is a sizable veterinary business that is professionally run by a dedicated management team. Their knowledge and experience will be invaluable when extrapolating the role of Ceremben in companion animal studies.

David Shotton (CEO and Founder Daval International Ltd)
David founded Daval International Ltd in 2000. David, originally an engineer by trade, has been a serial entrepreneur since 1962, founding a number of businesses in the engineering and insurance sectors. Latterly becoming a business angel, as his final “project” he acquired the early intellectual property upon which he has driven the development of AIMSPRO and Ceremben.
Roger Beesley (Production & Distribution Director Daval International Ltd)
Roger was an early investor in Daval and joined the Board in 2003. He previoulsy owned a number of businesses in haulage, distribution and transport.
